It's been a good day!

I know I haven't been posting a lot of layouts and projects lately, but with the increasing number of calls out there for 'never before seen layouts' and such- I have to hold a lot of it back.

But once in a while, I get a package that makes me remember just WHY I do this and why I keep banging my head against a wall. Well today, I got two of those packages! My 'You Amaze Me' layout came back from Creating Keepsakes, along with a copy of the idea book ("Can Do Techniques") AND I got my copy of Scrapbooking and Beyond (October issue) - where I have TWO layouts in the 'Readers Take Center Stage' column!

Fun toot for me!

I was contacted by the owner of Scrapbook Sizzle the other day through email. She said she saw my resume and really liked my work and invited me to be on the new design team. I'll get my first project box some time early next week, so you will soon be seeing projects from me for there. The site is new but it sounds like she is going to have lots to offer! I can't wait! And if you are reading, thank you so much Shelly for offering me this wonderful opportunity!

Introducing....

Payton, my new Weimaraner puppy!! Isn't he just the most adorable little creature you have ever seen?

Truth be told, I don't actually have him yet. He is still being weened from his mother and I am hoping to be able to bring him home sometime later this week or maybe early next week.

I just can't wait to lavish him in love and spoil him rotten! :) This photo was taken when he was 4 weeks old. I am sure he is going to look so much more different when I do get to bring him home, so I am glad to have this one sweet shot.

The Scrapbook Stand's August kit creations

I was able to get SO much done at the TTT crop this weekend- what a blast! We had to many new members come and join us, it was great!! If you stopped buy- THANK YOU!

But without further ado... here are my creations for this month's Scrapbook Stand kit. This was so much fun to work with- I can't stop creating. I still have about 3 more layouts on the back burners using this kit- LOL!

The first project is a nice, simple card. The second is a 11x8.5 layout about Sadie splashing in the water at the beach and the third is a 12x12 layout about my Mom's birthday last month. We celebrated at the beach and the photos are some of the shots from throughout the day.

I just got home from Plymouth after having lunch with Kim & Kassie. Checked my email and someone was kind enough to send me the link to Creating Keepsake's message board. My 'whoosh!' layout was chosen by Erin Lincoln as the Page of the Day! You can see it here.
