Team Supreme Challenge at Scrapperie!
We'd like to welcome you to join our first team challenge at Scrapperie. Get ready for a fun-filled, action packed month of some serious scrapping... and we mean scrapping!

For the month of June, you and your partner will endure various challenges and play games to earn points. There will be four main challenges, each worth points. In order to get the points for the challenges, both members of the team must complete the challenge. Games will also be posted along with some chats for extra points as well. The team with the most points at the end of the month wins a PRIZE PACKAGE FROM SCRAPPERIE!!

In order to participate, you must have a partner to form your team. What a great way to meet new scrappers and form a scrapping bond as you scrap to win! Remember, points can only be awarded if BOTH members scrap the particular challenge. The challenges must be met within the given deadline.

All layouts must be uploaded to The Gallerie and a link given in the specific thread so that we can all see and appreciate your awesome work!

Are you ready to scrap? Are you ready to be challenged? Are you ready to be Team Supreme?

Sign-ups began on May 16th and will continue until May 25th. There will be a fun little "prechallenge" on May 30th to get us all started earning points and having fun. Will you please come join us? You don't want to miss out on this fun!

Here's a link direct into the Team Supreme Challenge forum:
And here's a link to our members who still need a partner:
We'd love to crown you Team Supreme!
Happy Scrapping,

Sandi and Kim

It was time for a blog overhaul!
As most of you can see, I decided to COMPLETELY change my blog around. I thought it was time for something a little more fun! I'm sure I will be making some more changes as I go and tweaking things- I've been studying HTML again, so expect to see some more changes over the next few days... but I'd love to hear what you think so far.

Scrappin' Trends Design Team call
If any of you are interested, Scrappin' Trends is having a design team call. Elisa (the owner) has been absolutley WONDERFUL to work with for the past year and a half and I am greatly going to miss being a member of the team there. (The current dt's contracts expire at the end of June and everyone is welcome to apply again, but I need to concentrate on Scrapperie and All the Rage- so that's what I'll be doing.)

Here's all the details, straight from the ST site:
"It is that time again where some of our design team contracts are up at the end of May and it's time to have another Design Team Call to fill in those spots. If you like designing with hot new products and want to add to our ezine with your projects and idea's. Then Scrappin Trends is the place for you. Please e-mail me 3 layouts, 2 cards and 2 altered projects for DT consideration. We are looking for all kinds of scrappin Styles to add to our team. Please e-mail your submissions to scrappintrends@gmail.com with the subject titled "DT Submission" by May 18th. Along with your projects we would like to know a little bit about you. So please send us a little paragraph about you and your scrappin style and if you are on any DT's or have been on a DT please list those so we can see the work you have done for them. If you have a blog please link that as well just so we can get to know you a bit more. We would also like you to get to know us so if you have some time Join our message board and let us get to know you as you get to know us. New DT members will be contacted by phone on May 21st. and listed on the site after everyone has been contacted.

Thanks so much and I look forward to hearing from you.
Elisa"

Rock Star
Well, this is indeed a sad post. This is my last layout for Transparent Touches & tags, which uses the May A2Z/Dream Street papers kit.

After opening Scrapperie and seeing how much time I need to dedicate to that site, I have stepped down from my design position with TTT. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time there and have a newfound love for transparencies... and trust me- you will be seeing some of them in future Scrapperie kits! LOL

This layout uses a lot of the papers in small doses- I used the cherryArte chipboard and covered it with a bunch of the papers to make the border along the bottom of the photo of my nephew, Zak, playing his new guitar on Christmas Eve. He took to it so easily, I can see how one of these days, he might just be a Rock Star!

School of Rock
I just love this Transparent Touches & tags kit- it features A2Z Essentials papers mixed with Dream Street. I really mixed them up a lot and had some fun painting and distressing the white Bazzill chipboard alphabets- I added a bit of dimensional paint on them to jazz it up a bit and I (sort of) hid my journaling around my photo.

This is Jeff and Zak, on Christmas Eve. Jeff used to play bass and is showing Zak a few chords and tricks. They were so funny together and it was fun to see Jeff reminisce.

Two weeks ago, we celebrated Madison's sixth birthday at home. She and I were able to go steal some quiet time away from the party and spend some time just goofing around on the trampoline. I caught this fun shot of her showing me her splits in the air. She's such a little funny one!

I made this for Transparent Touches & tags using the May A2Z/Dream Street kit. I know this one is really simple for me... but after adding all sorts of other fun emebellies from the kit, I kept taking them off and finding that I liked this layout as it was... simple. So, this is a first for me! LOL
